"What day is July"

^What was said to me this week along with another few quotes I´ll drop below real quick:
-"I haven´t slept in a month...When I can´t sleep I like to make and then drink coffee" *cough cough. I think I know the problem.
-*walking on the street with my companion, "are you two boyfriends?...brothers?..."
-"Do you wear lipstick? Because I already have."
-"So really...how can I get your sisters number."
-"So your hair is naturally blue but you dye it yellow?"
And basically more fun quotes. All from the same dude. All from the same 10 minute conversation. Tears were shed from laughing so hard.

But basically these past two weeks have been some of the greatest weeks on the mission but some of the slowest too. Carnával meant that everyone flees to the beach to watch the famous singer, Anita, lip-sync for an expensive ticket. I ́d say going to church is much better but who am I to ask...;)
Transfer calls came and looks like I´ll be staying here but training an American Elder--Elder Spinti--to be Zone Leader. So stay tuned for some good miracles that will happen this next transfer because 1. God is good 2. General Conference is this transfer 3. Being a missionary is pretty rad.
This past week we planned a Talent Show for this upcoming week and honestly, God is preparing this people for this talent show. I have never seen a group of people get so excited to show how fast they can chug a bottle of water. But the day we decided to plan this activity, I just prayed to God that he could send participants and excitement for this activity so that we can get references from the members. Literally the first day we met a guy who can play any Rock and Roll song on the spot, we met others who will play some Justin Bieber on the Guitar, some who will play video games in front of everyone, and others who will show their talent of eating food. It´s amazing how God is so willing to bless us with miracles IF we put in the first step of faith and he will orchestrate the rest.
Not too much to report on.
By the way...if you are having a hard day or week, take a quick look at this pic of me getting attacked by a small parakeet. Literally. The picture just describes it all. Pure terror.

Love ya all!
Elder Gardanier
