Familia e amigos!
What a week it has been. Let me tell ya
flights are much longer when all you can do is look at the chair in front of
you. But, it’s a good time. Some things about the CTM here in Sao Paulo Brasil,
-I've gained at least 5 pounds. 4.9 of those have been from rice and beans and the other .1 have been from the vending machines and buying fake Twinkies...(idk how Twinkies could get any faker hahaha)
-My room is on the 6th floor and they won’t let us use the
elevators so we legit run up 7 flights of stairs 4 times a day. IM GONNA BE
HUGE.
-This place is full of Brazilians, moi moi Brazilians. They
all speak Portuguese and very little English which is helping me learn a lot
faster!
-Fun fact, floral ties aren’t allowed in the CTM so rip 8 of
my ties. I legit have like 4 left and here is what my companion said [and they’re
all grandpa ties too Elder Gardanier]. De nada, I’m pumped to wear my grandpa
ties for the next 5 weeks.
-The days feel like years. I legit thought I was out for 4
weeks but realized it was just the first day! They keep us busy but I’m trying
hard to keep up!
-I’m in a trio and it’s a good time! It’s hard because my
companions wander and so we lose track of them fast but good thing I had dad to
help me combat the wandering problem...aye dad.
It’s a good time. Beans for legit every
meal and ham and cheese paninis for every single breakfast. I miss a good bowl
of captain crunch and actual milk and COOKIES ALL THE WAY. Do yourself a favor
and grab yourself a Crumbl cookie and think of me. Love ya all and keep
studying the scriptures and bringing others to Christ. This church is so
true!!!
Tchau!
Elder Gardanier
