It´s true. This was the week my
district decided the bread, beans, and vending machines were taking a toll and
we commenced our workouts of 4 min planks every night with pull up circuits and
leg days and just lots of fun. It’s probably good because this week was some
better eatinn´for me haha....
Tender mercy
story right here...on pday I went outside to walk around town and I went to
this store that apparently gets deliveries from home and they had a domino’s
pizza, Sprite, 2 cookies, a 4 CINNAMON ROLLS for me! It was the greatest moment
and my kind family back it UT somehow sent it. So, I figured if I keep complaining
they’ll keep sending food. Ha-ha, jk, the food is getting better but the food I
missed this week was: JCW´S brownie chocolate shake. Booyah.
This week was amazing, just a lot of
tender mercies that let me know God is watching and consecrating my
performance. It´s weird to be halfway done with the MTC, it’s gone by fast but I
can’t WAIT to go out into the field!
The companions are awesome and we were
able to give a blessing because the language is tough and the CTM just holds
such a high expectation for us!
When you get the time, read Elder
Bednar´s talk about meekness and that is something we ALL can improve on. I´m
been thinking about it a lot as a district leader how I feel so unqualified but
it’s through recognizing other´s strengths and recognizing the positives in
others that a Chirst-like character is built within us. Love it and definitely
a 10/10 read.
Love ya all!

Other info from our 15 minute phone call: Dia de oculos (day of the glasses) Every Sunday they wear their
glasses instead of contacts. It’s starting to spread around the CTM.
Each week a different
district does a musical number for the whole CTM. Daniel’s group is playing
tomorrow. They decided on the song, “Come Unto Christ.” Some were complaining
that the notes were too high, so Daniel recomposed the song to fit their needs.
He said it felt so good to sit down at the piano.
His CTM teacher sent a
link to some pictures he downloaded of their pday to the Campinas temple and
the real Rodizio Grill. Huge Shout Out to his teacher! The Campinas temple is
about a 1 ½ hour bus ride, and the Sao Paulo temple is 30 minutes.
