This week was amazing. I am thriving here because of the COUNTLESS miracles God is constantly sending. This week cooled down to 72 with clouds and rain which was the biggest birthday miracle! My companions also made me chocolate chip pancakes with Nutella and ice cream on top for the best American breakfast ever. And this was just cake one haha. The members here are amazing and I had 2 other appointments to share a message then blow out a few candles. The fridge right now is bursting with cakes haha.
My first baptism was this week and wow the spirit was FORTE. Just being able to lay my hands on Daniele´s head and participate in her receiving the Holy Ghost was so spiritual. What a gift for her and her son to have now. So happy for them and so happy to be a missionary. Truly blessed and am learning so much! The time is already flying by!
The moment of the week was walking down a Brazilian road, seeing the Brazilian sunset, samba music in the background, and a group of kids playing soccer in the street. I´m here in Brazil. But I don´t blend in as much as I think haha. The group of 8 little Brazilians came running up to me yelling words in english and just staring at me haha. They were asking questions like, "What´s it like in the US? Is the US better than Brazil? How many girlfriends do you have because of your blue eyes and blonde hair? Do people throw trash in the roads like they do here in Brasil?" Hhahaha, I love those kids with all my heart. We talked for a bit and I left 8 invites to come to church and take a piano class this upcoming Saturday. Gained 8 new buddies as I walked away and they all in some English form yelled "LOVE YOU!" These are the fruits of 11 hours walking in the streets contacting people.
Love
